My friend John Brady who owns TopRetirements.com was asked to edit the feature article in the September issue of NARFE Magazine. The NARFE (National Association of Retired Federal Employees) surveyed their members recently and asked “Why should other federal retirees consider retiring in your town?”
They got back over 600 responses and nominations for communities all across the country and a few foreign countries. But the runaway favorite by far according to the article, was The Villages.

John said that he and the editor of the magazine were “both amazed at the unbridled enthusiasm for The Villages.” Just goes to show you that even though there are some minor problems in The Villages, the majority of people living there are pretty happy.
